Before we get started, please see this note below from our director…
At this month’s chapter meeting we will introduce the new Assistant Director and Ladies of Harley Officer. Before I move forward, I would like to take a moment to thank Frank and Jeannie. Their hard work and participation for the last year and a half was much appreciated. I wish them well and thank them again.
The long awaited chapter survey has now been issued to all active email addresses to chapter members from Survey Monkey. If you have not received it, please check your junk or spam mail and if not there, notify me with a working email address. Note that only one response is permitted for each email address. The survey will close next Monday.
The Wednesday night dinner rides have been cancelled due to lack of participation. However, rides with the dealership to Quaker Steak and Lube are still on.
Flash camps – want to drill on slow speed maneuvers to be a better rider? Our Safety Captain Larry has already conducted a couple of workshops and is planning more opportunities for us to improve our skills. Stay tuned to the website calendar and Facebook for announcements. Note these camps are held in empty parking lots to save costs.
Reminder, we are looking for authors for our Chapter introductory flyer. Interested? Contact Larry Blakely at email@example.com.
Don’t forget our monthly chapter meeting is this Saturday the 6th at the Tiki Hut. We will be donating the Chapter’s half of the 50/50 proceeds to Nam Knights (Veteran and Law Enforcement motorcycle club) for their cause. The dealership is also holding an event for them on the 9th of August.
Also coming up is the ever-popular Bowling Night on August 17th. The Ladies of Harley will be holding their monthly meeting at the lanes at 6:30pm before the competition starts and to cheer on our Chapter bowlers. If you wish to bowl, please remember to contact Jerry Umland in advance to register. Jerry can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 813.892.2835.
- Feedback cards – we will be distributing cards at each chapter meeting and rides to get your feedback on the events. We will also have the forms posted on the website for you to use.
- New and improved ride information! Our road captains will be providing additional information and details regarding their rides to help you plan. The information will include how long to plan for, the type of ride and experience level as well as additional information help you chose if you want to participate. We are also looking into ways to have everyone post photos of the events and rides you participate in to our site to help document our fun and adventures.
- Want to find ride suggestions? We will soon be posting routes for your use. This will include favorite group rides, and other suggestions.
- Look for a link to buy all your Chapter and HOG accessories right from our website. I will let you know when the link is up and running.
